The audio of AVM's Tirupathi will be released on 14 March. Buzz is that Rajinikanth might release the first copy of the audiocassette (though a confirmation is still awaited).

Produced by AVM and directed by Perarasu, the movie has Ajith and Sada in the lead roles.

Says Perarasu, in pursuit of a hat-trick of hits. 'I am aware of the expectations building up not only from Ajith's fans but also from the industry as such. I could only marvel at the commitment of Ajith and the freedom from the reputed banner.'

The Ajith-Sada starrer Tirupathi will be AVM's 167th film, in its diamond jubilee year.

Incidentally, this is Ajith's first film in the prestigious banner, produced by M Saravanan and M S Guhan.

The movie has musical score by Bharadwaj and has six numbers of which five are expected to be racy, quite typical to Perarasu's films before.
