Director Perarasu made a big bang entry in Kollywood with the blockbuster Vijay starrer 'Thirupachi' and he followed it up with another blockbuster 'Sivakasi' again with Vijay.

Today (November 1,2016) is the eleventh year of the release date of 'Sivakasi' which released for the Deepavali festival day of the year 2005.

Asked whether he has any plans to direct a sequel to 'Sivakasi' he said his first three films 'Thirupachi', 'Sivakasi' and 'Tirupathi' (Ajith played the lead role in it) has potential to be followed up with a sequel. But he does not wish to make a sequel now but he is hopeful of teaming up with Ilayathalapathy again to deliver another blockbuster.

Perarasu also revealed that he is in talks for a film with a big star hero and the announcement about the same can be expected soon.

Vijay who is on the verge of completing his 60th film 'Bairavaa' will be teaming up with 'Theri' director Atlee for his next and is also expected to team up with director Selvaraghavan after that.
