Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” becomes the film to bag the most awards at the 94th Academy Awards!

The 94th Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles today, presenting Oscars to the best films released between March 1 and December 31, 2021. The event saw several memorable moments including an incident in which Will Smith slapped the host Chris Rock on-stage after the latter made a joke about the illness of the former’s wife.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros Pictures’ monumental film “Dune” went on to bag the most awards in the 94th Academy Awards. Dune won six Oscars this time in the categories: Best Visual Effects, Cinematography, Production Design, Editing, Sound and Score. Dune: Part One, helmed by Denis Villeneuve, is considered one of the best visionary films of the century.

Dune is an epic science fiction fantasy film and the cinematic adaptation of a 1965 novel of the same name by Frank Herbert. The title is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video in English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. The first film, released in October 2021, stars Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Jason Momoa and Javier Bardem, among others.
