This on-screen and off-screen couple and Bollywood’s first family members – Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan celebrate their 37th wedding anniversary today.

When Amitji ko Jayaji Mili, the Zanjeer of love held them tight over the years; their married life remaining steady, unmoved by any controversies or gossips. They have Abhimaan of finding soul mate in each other. Chupke Chupke as years passed by their Silsila of love became strong with the coming of their two kids. Although Big B’s career saw the Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham phases, Jayaji had been feeding him with Sholay (flames) of support and confidence all throughout.

Not only their individual films, those which they acted together entered the books of classic cinema.

N number of wishes has been dropped in for the couple on Big B’s blog and micro-blogging sites.

Tweets his son Abhishek: "37 years! That's how long my parents have been married. Their wedding anniversary today!"
