The TikTok serial-killer, who used the alias of Johnny Dada to post videos on TikTok portraying himself as a "villain", shot himself to death after the police found him on a bus in Bijnor. He was on the most wanted list after committing three murders in five days.

Ashwini Kumar, who was also a drug addict, had killed the 25-year-old son and and the 26-year-old nephew of a BJP leader, followed by a 27-year-old, who allegedly turned down his proposal. The police were on the lookout for the accused ever since, and when they spotted him on a bus hiding his face with a handkerchief, they tried to nab him, but he shot himself in the head before they could do so. "Ashwini’s location was traced to Nagina area in Bijnor from where he was trying to flee and had boarded a roadways bus. A team of local police stopped the bus at 1:15 am on Saturday," an official involved in the case reportedly mentioned in a statement.

The bus conductor reportedly told a news agency, "By the time, we reached Bijnor, the bus was almost empty and two commuters boarded it in Nagina. Two constables got on the bus during a surprise check close to the police station. They asked a man to uncover his face, but he suddenly took out a pistol and shot himself."
