'Tiger 3' will surpass 'Pathaan', says screenwriter Sridhar Raghavan

Shahrukh Khan's comeback project 'Pathaan' is bringing amazing box office numbers even during the third week of its release. The film has grossed more than 850 crore rupees by now and it is apparent that audience are thrilled to see Shahrukh back on big screen and that too in an huge action packed film. His brief teamup with Salman Khan was also one of the highlights of the film.
Amidst the popularity of 'Pathaan', screenwriter Sridhar Raghavan has stated that 'Tiger 3' will garner even more love from the audience and that they will see it for 3-4 times in theaters. He told ETimes, "I think you’re going to have a blast. You’ll really find it, like, ‘Wow!’ I am hoping so. This is a bit hard to say because I am involved in writing. So you know it feels ajeeb saying something. I think it’s great fun, it’s terrific, and to take a film, a character who’s already in Tiger 1 and Tiger 2, and try and do something to match up to that and even top it, I think we have managed to pull it off."
Raghavan added, "But I don’t want to say anything, there are still a few months before it comes out. But writing it was an absolute blast. If you like the genre, I think you’ll watch it 3-4 times!”
Apart from Shahrukh and Salman, 'Pathaan' also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in key roles. It is a part of YRF's spy universe which also comprises of films 'War' and 'Tiger' franchise.
