The Pre-Release event of 'Kanam' went about yesterday without its male lead Naga Shaurya making it. A few days ago when the film's Tamil version's audio was released in Chennai, Shaurya, again, was absent.

Earlier, it was thought that the hero will not promote the Tamil version as he is not well-known in Tamil Nadu. However, he has skipped even the Telugu version's events. It's now a moot question if he will promote 'Kanam'.

As is known, only recently, Shaurya had said that Sai Pallavi showed airs on the sets of the movie. Since then, it has been rumoured that the hero-heroine duo is yet to patch up.

On her part, Pallavi has not spoken anything against her male co-star. Far from it, at Monday's event, she described Shaurya as a "phenomenal actor" whose expressions she can't imitate.
