With just a few weeks to go, Fans are getting ready to celebrate Ilayathapathy Vijay's birthday falling on June 22. It is official that the First look poster of Vijay's yet to be titled 61st film 'Thalapathy 61' will also be released.

On the same day many yesteryear blockbusters of Vijay will be screened in theaters across Tamil Nadu for the fans to celebrate their icon's birthday in movie halls.

This kind of celebration is going to happen not just in Tamil Nadu, but even in foreign land!

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 2012 blockbuster 'Thuppakki' is going to be screened at a movie hall in Melbourne of Australia on June 22, 2017 to mark Vijay's birthday. The online ticket sales for this show has already started. This is probably the first time, a special screening of a Tamil actor's film is being done in a foreign country to celebrate the actor's birthday. This proves Vijay's fan base increasing among Tamils living in foreign countries as far as Australia.

It is also learnt that special shows of Vijay films will be screened in the neighbouring states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and ofcoruse, Vijay;s citadel Kerala.
