Vijay is playing a youngster from a Mumbai-based Tamil family in 'Thupaki'. The name of his character is Jagadeesh. The happy-go-lucky man's life undergoes a sudden turn. The decisions he takes after that is the rest of the story.

We have not presented the above details with information obtained from any source which is close to the unit, but straight from the mouth of A R Murugadoss, who is directing the much expected film.

Says the director, "Kajal Aggarwal too is playing a Mumbai-based Tamilian. Like my earlier movies, this action story too comes with a beautiful love episode. The chemistry between Vijay and Kajal is good."

He adds: "Thupaki will be a complete treat to Vijay fans. The screenplay will move on a fast track from scene one. There will be no punch dialogues since the script itself is packed with so many punches."
