Ajith Kumar's upcoming action entertainer 'Thunivu' will storm the screens worldwide on 12 January 2023. The team is busy with post-production and promotional work now. Meanwhile, the movie's stunt master has revealed exciting details about the fight sequences in a recent interview.
Supreme Sundar, a renowned stunt choreographer in the South Indian industry, has handled the action blocks in Thunivu. He is best known for his work in famous Malayalam films - Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Beeshma Parvam, Driving License and Thallumaala. Earlier, Sundar choreographed a theatre fight in Thallumaala, which is a single-shot 360-degree action episode. It became a sensational hit.
In a recent interview, Supreme Sundar revealed that he has composed a similar single-shot 360-degree fight sequence in Thunivu. This sequence will last around 32 seconds. He said, "Ajith sir came and saw the action moves twice. Then, he picked up the timing in the 3rd take. But it went for 13 takes because of fighters." (sic)
H Vinoth directed Thunivu, bankrolled by Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP and Zee Studios. The film also stars Manju Warrier, John Kokken, Veera, Samuthirakani, Mamathi Chari, Prem Kumar, Mahanadhi Shankar, and many others in important characters. This movie is locking horns with Thalapathy Vijay's family entertainer 'Varisu' on Pongal.
