Director Pradeep Ranganathan delivered his second film, 'Love Today', earlier this after his blockbuster debut, 'Comali'. This coming-of-age rom-com drama, which marks Pradeep's debut as a hero, emerged as one of the top grossers of the year and was dubbed into Telugu after huge demand.
According to recent reports on social media, producer Boney Kapoor acquired the remake rights of 'Love Today' to reprise it in Hindi with the Bollywood star Varun Dhawan as the lead, which will be directed by Varun's father David Dhawan. Now, the leading film producer took to his social media page to confirm whether the reports are true.
Boney Kapoor quashed them as rumours and wrote on Twitter, "Please note that I have NOT acquired the remake rights of Love Today. All such reports on social media are baseless and fake." The film is all about how a young couple is made to exchange their phones for a day and the hilarious turn of events that occur post that.
Please note that I have NOT acquired the remake rights of Love Today. All such reports on social media are baseless and fake.
