Thunivu
Ajith Kumar teamed up with director H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor once again for the third time in his 61st film titled 'Thunivu'. It is said that the movie revolves around a bank robbery based on a true incident that took place in Punjab in the 1980s.
Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Ajay, Veera, Mahanadhi Shankar, Amir, Pavni, Cibi Chandran, GM Sundar, Bhagavathy Perumal and others have played important characters in Thunivu. The much-awaited film is all set to hit the screens on Pongal 2023 (January 12), clashing with Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu' at the box office.
Ghibran has composed the songs and background scores for the movie which has cinematography by Nirav Shah, editing by Vijay Velukutty and stunt by Supreme Sundar. Produced by Bayview Projects LLP and Zee Studios, Red Giant Movies bagged the theatrical distribution rights of Thunivu in Tamil Nadu and Lyca Productions acquired the overseas rights.
