Ajith Kumar's 'Thunivu' is one of the if not the most anticipated upcoming Tamil films that have pan-Indian appeal. The team headed by director H. Vinoth has been shooting a high-octane action sequence with Ajith and Thai fighters in Bangkok for the past few weeks.

It has now been reported that the entire shoot of 'Thunivu' will be wrapped up today and the final phase of post production will begin shortly. The trade buzz is that the film is on track to release as a grand Pongal treat for fans in mid January 2023. AK fans are on cloud nine as there is also a possibility for a rare box office clash with arch-rival Thalapathy Vijay whose 'Varisu' is also targeting the same date.

'Thunivu' directed by H. Vinoth is produced by Boney Kapoor with Ghibran scoring the music. The film's star cast comprises Ajith Kumar, Manju Warrier, Sanjay Dutt, G.M. Sundar, Bhagavathy Perumal, Mahanathi Shankar, Pavani, Amir, Cibi and Samuthirakani.
