‘Thulluvadho Ilamai’ Actor Abhinay Passes Away!

November 10, 2025 Published by anbuselvid8bbe9c60f

Tamil cinema’s unforgettable film, the 2002 release ‘Thulluvadho Ilamai’, made actor Abhinay (Abhinay Kinger) famous by casting him in a key role alongside Dhanush. Directed by Kasthuri Raja, the film introduced Dhanush, Sherin, and Abhinay. Following that, he acted in supporting roles in several films like ‘Junction’, ‘Singara Chennai’, ‘Success’, ‘Endrendrum Punnagai’, ‘Das’, and ‘Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham’. He also appeared in some as the hero and worked in Malayalam films. Additionally, Abhinay served as a dubbing artist for stars like Vidyut Jammwal (Thuppakki, Anjaan) and Milind Soman (Paayum Puli).

The 44-year-old Abhinay had been suffering from liver cirrhosis for the past few months and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai. When it was revealed that ₹28 lakh was needed to save his life, actors like Dhanush (who donated ₹5 lakh) and KPY Bala (₹1 lakh) came forward with financial help. Thanks to this, Abhinay recovered somewhat and even attended a few cinema events.

However, treatment proved ineffective, and Abhinay passed away today (November 10, 2025) around 4 AM, according to reports. It is said that he had no close relatives, with only a couple of friends providing assistance. Abhinay, who lived in a rented house in Rangarajapuram, Chennai, now has no one even for his final rites, creating a heartbreaking situation in Tamil cinema.

The son of National Award-winning Malayalam actress T.P. Radhamani (who passed away from cancer in 2019), Abhinay faced severe financial and health struggles after his mother’s death. He once shared that he even ate at government messes to survive, deeply saddening fans.

Condolences from film celebrities and fans are pouring in on social media. This tragic loss in Tamil cinema serves as a reminder of the immense struggles actors face in their lives.

Rest in peace, Abhinay… 🙏
