The film Thulasidala` in Kannada in the mid 80`s was the launch pad of actress Thara who is sitting MLC as Thara Anooradha and it was debut direction of Vemgal Jagannatha Rao.

The same title Thulasidala` is the title of mega serial of Pixel Pictures Prashanthi Mallishetty that is on air in Colors Super from 8 pm. Shilpa Rudrappa is executive producer of this mega serial.
