Throwback: What Allu Arjun feels Nepotism is all about

'Dhamaka' is the latest film to stir the hornet's nest by invoking Nepotism. In a scene, Ravi Teja's character says that rowdyism doesn't need nepotism. This after bragging about making it big in life without anybody's support. (Actually, his character in the film makes it big because of his businessman-father).
Leaving that aside, it's time to recall what Allu Arjun said in 2020 while defending nepotism. The 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' star described it as something natural. While saying that he has "special respect" towards self-made actors, Bunny was quick to add that just as a priest's son becomes a priest, dedicating his life to the deity in a temple, his family members too have been serving the 'prekshaka devullu' since the Allu Ramalingiah times.
"If this is called nepotism, so be it," he added at an event.
Bunny will start shooting for 'Pushpa 2' in the second week of January next year. The film might hit the screens in 2024.
