Yesteryear actress Sumalatha Ambareesh, getting nostalgic, has shared on Twitter a few pics from the past. A birthday function of hers, hosted by her actor-husband Ambareesh, was attended by Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Kannada stars Vishnu Vardhan and other celebs.

Calling it a "legendary line-up", the actress on Monday celebrated the friendships. Sumalatha may not be doing films, but she is very much a regular on social media, interacting with her former colleagues and wishing them on special occasions.

When she was in Hyderabad a couple of years ago for a function related to a Mohan Babu movie, Sumalatha tickled the funny bone when she said that she was born while her mother was watching 'Swargam Narakam', the 1975 movie starring Mohan Babu. This was her funny repartee to the veteran actor's remark that he was a student when Sumalatha was a heroine. Factually, Mohan Babu debuted years before the actress.
