Mammootty and Dulquer are in Thrissur for film shoots, but not for the same film but different ones. Mammootty is there to act in "The Great Father" helmed by Haneef Adeni, a family drama-thriller having Sneha and Baby Anikha in prominent roles. This movie is produced by Prithviraj, Shaji Natesan, Arya & Santhosh Sivan and is scheduled to release by end of this year.

Dulquer is there for his Sathyan Anthikad project. Sathyan Anthikad is shooting for a film in Thrissur for the first time in his career spanning three decades. The film is about the relation between father and son and is told in the backdrop of a business family. The father`s role is acted by Mukesh and Dulquer will be heard conversing in Thrissur slang.

Meanwhile Mammootty had a selfie time in Thrissur. He inaugurated the press club of Thrissur event - News Photographer Photo & News Video Photographer Video by posing for a selfie. Mammootty`s "Pranjiyettan the saint" directed by Ranjith was based in Thrissur and in it the actor spoke the typical Thrissur slang and it was one of his best performances in his career.
