Sandhya is all happy that her role in Prajapathi has been acclaimed by all. She plays a naughty cousin to Mammootty in the movie.

The actress, says, 'I knew that the role in 'Prajapathi' was not a meaty, full-length role. But I was confident that it would give me enough scope to perform since the character figures in all the crucial scenes of the movie. Moreover, I was getting to work with great names in the industry - Ranjith, Mammooty, Nedumudi Venu and so on.'

A great fan of Mohanlal and Manju Warrier, she says, 'Though I act in Tamil and Telugu movies, I would love to work in Malayalam movies. I feel comfortable working here and it gives me immense satisfaction acting here'.

Sandhya had earlier acted in Sibi Malayil's Alice In Wonderland.
