There is a slow groundswell of expectation over director Venky's new film Mogudu Pellam Oo Dongodu.

The film was to release this month. But it now seems it may make it to the cinema halls only by next month.

The wait,it seems, may be worth it.

For, the film has just three characters --- a husband, wife and a thief. The film stars just Raja,Shriya and Brahmanandam.

Producer Vakada Apparao's son Vakada Anjan Kumar is producing this film on Sri Ramalayam banner that produced Rajinikanth's Basha.

The film went to floors in January.The music by Kabuli (who has worked with A R Rehman) is also being highly talked of.

It is good that mainline Telugu directors are finally getting the gumption to experiment within the confines of commercial matrix.
