The 36th International Film Festival to be held in Goa from November 24th will screen three Kannada films as well.

Haseena, directed by Girish Kasaravalli and Beru, directed by P Sheshadri have found themselves a place among the list of films that are going to be screened. Both films have also won National Awards this year in various categories.

The big surprise and of course a great achievement is that Rishi, directed by Prakash will also be screened alongside major films. Rishi stars talented actors like Shivarajkumar, Vijay Raghavendra and Radhika. The film is going to be screened under the mainstream cinema section.

Also being screened in this section are films like Veer Zara, Black, Chandramukhi among others. This sure is a big thing for young director Prakash and he hopes to be able to attend the festival on the day of the screening of his film. Prakash is currently working the post production details of his forthcoming film Shree.
