The most expected film ‘Barfi’ of Diganth and Bhama, ‘Shatru’ lovely star Premkumar and Dimple Chopda, the one languishing in the cans for four years ‘Mandhahasa’ starring Rakesh, Niki and Chetan in lead roles are hitting the silver screen with three Kannada films – Victory (2nd week), Jayammana Maga (3rd week) and Googly (6th week) faring exceedingly well in the box office.

‘Barfi’ is highly expected because the director Shekhar (Rajasekhar) is confidently telling at the media meets that you can come to my film ‘Barfi’ with lot of expectations. He has earlier directed ‘Amrutha Vani’ and ‘Parole’ Kannada films.

‘Barfi’ shot in Vagha border, Punjab and other lovely locations of Karnataka is a different kind of love story between a Kannada boy and a Punjabi girl.

KM Shanker is producer in Chaturthi Creations. Arjun Janya songs have already created hype in the market. BA Madhu dialogues, Gundulpet Suresh cinematography, KM Prakash editing, Ravi Verma stunts, Harsha and Kambiraj choreography, Bahu Bali is assistant director to Rajasekhar for this film.

Samyuktha Belawadi is in her second film after ‘Lifu Ishtene’. Dilipraj is playing prominent role. Sudha Belawadi, Jai Jagadish, Harish Raj, Suchindra Prasad, Pavithra Lokesh, Shanker Bhat, Indrajith Lankesh are also in the cast of ‘Barfi’.

SHATRU – Sri Sai Ram Pictures also waiting for release for over a year of obtaining censor certificate is produced by technician of Kannada cinema MD Prakash and Arun Devasya. Lovely star has got a change over image opportunity from this film. He has developed his physique to six pack abs and worked for nearly one year on his appearance. He has four action scenes that is for the first time in his career from the days of ‘Praana’ his debut.

‘Shatru’ with a caption ‘Boss to Mass’ is directed by JK . The film is shot extensively in rural area with a number of theatre artists working for it.

Dimple Chopa is heroine and Sharat Lohitashva is main rabble rouser. Ramesh Bhat, Rangayana Raghu, Tabla aani, Bullet Prakash, BS Anand, Arun Devasya are also in the cast.

Sujith Shetty has scored music, Mathew Rajan is cameraman, Mohan B Kere has erected sets for this film ‘Shatru’.

‘MANDHAHASA’ – by Advik Creations Basava Reddy was in the cans for a long time. Rajesh K Nayar has penned story, screenplay and directed the film with Veera Samarth music and Santosh Rai Pathaje cinematography. KM Prakash is editor, Madan Harini, Longis Fernandes are choreographers, Manju Mandavya dialogues, Shashidhar Adapa is art director.

Rakesh Adiga of Josh fame, Chetan, Nikki and Bhavya are making debut. Dr Srinath, RG Vijayasarathy, Mithra, Alok, Ashok Sharma and others are in supporting roles.
