Three Facts About 'Majnu' You Should Know

Rarely do you find a star (err.. actor) whom audiences would doubt he won't deliver. In a year of two back-to-back hits (read 'KVPG' and 'Gentleman'), Nani's audiences are hardly bored to watch him in two more entertainers slated to be released this year - 'Majnu' on Sept 23, and 'Nenu Local' in December.
Here we bring you three facts that Nani says the film has in store:
No suspense:
Much as you think it's a triangular love story involving Nani, Priya Sri and Anu Emmanuel, 'Majnu' is not a suspenseful entertainer. Nani has been quoted as saying that there are no twists and turns in the movie. After an edge-of-the-seat thriller like 'Gentleman', this one is hardly suspenseful. And that's a change for good.
Fun ride:
The trailer may suggest that 'Majnu' is more about conflicts than humour, but the fact is that it's a "fun ride", to quote Nani himself. Virinchi Varma's first movie had the element of humour running through its veins, whatever may be the situation. So, whether Nani is listening to a tragedy Ilayaraaja number or saying that love is not 'rasam' but 'chutney', it's humour and humour alone. Get ready to be treated to a funny fare!
No separate comedy track:
Vennela Kishore, Sapthagiri, Posani Krishna Murali and Sathya are there, but there is no separate comedy track as such. This can be made out from the trailer. The comedy is situational, as has been the thing about Nani's movies right from the days of 'Ashta Chamma'. This says a lot about Nani's choices as much as about Nani, the actor. Way to go, Natural Star!
