'Jai Hind', the salutation used by most Indians regularly, was coined by a freedom fighter. And his name is Dr. Chempakaraman Pillai.

The news is that Bollywood producers Anjum Rizvi, Raghavendra N and Riju Bajaj have come together to make a film on his biopic. Tentatively titled 'Jai Hind', the film will chronicle the rise and ideology of the unsung revolutionary.

What is the most exciting piece of news about this project is that three big names are under consideration: Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. It will be a big project if any of them comes on board.

The film will be a crossover project from the three producers, who are currently looking after the scripting procedures.

It will be interesting to see what the biopic has in store. One hopes the famous historical moment when Pillai confronted Adolf Hitler for the latter's offensive comments on Indians will be a major episode in the film.
