As new film makers are running after fresh story writers for potential threads, the new film titled 'Thread' is depending upon a real issue for its thread. The recent incident of the killing of an Assistant Sub Inspector of Police inside a college campus in Changanassery during a student agitation will form the premise of a forthcoming film with Mukesh in the key role.

'Thread' directed by Benny Ashamsa, also has the story written by the director. The film will also feature Biju Menon, Salim Kumar, Mythili, Dhanya Menon in other important roles. The screenplay and dialogues will be penned by Anil Mukhathala. .

The pooja ceremony and recording for the film was recently held at Thiruvananthapuram. The shooting of the film produced by V.Somanath under the banner of V.S.Productions will commence in a few weeks, in and around Changanassery and Pollachy.
