Yesteryear actress Amani, who was seen in such blockbuster 1990s movies like 'Jamba Lakidi Pamba' and 'Shubalagnam', recently made a comeback with 'IPC Section: Bharya Bandhu'.

In a recent interview, the middle-aged actress opened up about casting couch. "I did face sexual harassment from new producers. They would call me up and ask me to be there at their guest house without the company of my mother. It was easy for me to see through their motives. I gradually stopped even attending the calls of such persons," Amani said, adding that established producers/directors were always nice to her.

She got married at a time when offers were coming her way in good numbers. As per the demands of her in-laws and husband, Amani stood away from films for many years.
