'Thor' Star Chris Hemsworth Cast In 'Ghostbusters' Reboot

Post the super success of 'Spy', director Paul Feig is all set for his next. The director took to twitter to reveal that 'Thor' and 'Avengers' star Chris Hemsworth will be appearing in the female-led 'Ghostbusters' reboot.
Hemsworth has been cast as the film's receptionist. It must be noted that in the Ivan Reitman's original 'Ghostbusters' film, the said role ('Janine Melnitz') was played by actress Annie Potts.
This comes from a leading news daily: "Insiders say the studio went to Hemsworth very early on in the process for one the major male roles but the Aussie actor thought the role to be too small and passed. Since then Sony sent the script back to be reworked so the part could be beefed up and it looks as if the latest draft is to Hemsworth's liking."
Paul Feig's 'Ghostbusters' has a cast that includes Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. The film will arrive in theaters on July 22, 2016.
