Weekends are coming and going, movies are being released and are slipping into oblivion one after another... Telugu cinema doesn’t have a game changing success apart from 'Attarintiki Daredi' this year’s latter half. This weekend, there are as many as five movies are hitting the roads and a sneak peek into them reveals that there could be a surprise in store. Well, it lights up one's heart to be optimistic, doesn't it...

There are four movies releasing on Friday, the 6th December.

Prema Ishq Kadal is directed by an NRI filmmaker Pavan Sadineni and this is the story of three love couples with different backgrounds and ways of life. The girls Vithika, Sri Mukhi and Ritu have all been successful in creating the buzz for the film than the guys except for Harshavardhan Rane. Music by Shravan has been listed in important charts and even mentioned especially by Sekhar Kammula, which would make a huge sound in the NRI market. This is the one movie that might be the small film that goes on to hit big at the Box Office this year.

‘Aata Arambham’ is the Telugu version of Ajith-Nayan Tara Tamil super hit ‘Arambham’ which also has a great supporting cast in Arya, Rana and Tapsee. Vishnu, the director of ‘Panja’ is a well known name in Telugu as well. The film will see one of the biggest releases for a Tamil dubbing film in Telugu.

‘Chakali Ailamma’ is the story of a downtrodden woman rebelling against the Zamindars and Patwaris of Telangana which triggered the massive struggle and the 1940’s Telangana Armed Movement. Directed by Miriyala Ravi Kumar and casting Preethi Nigam in the title role, this film might be able to trigger the passion in the Telangana parts of the state.

The fourth film titled ‘Pranaya Veedhullo... Porade Prince’ is a small film with no significant faces in the ensemble, but for the well known retired IAS officer Ramana Chary playing a dual role. Directed by Prabhakar Jaini, the film is clearly catering to the Maruthi-ish crowds and can get some openings on the Friday.

There is another much awaited film ‘Aadu Magadraa Bujji’ starring Sudheer Babu Posani who is basking on the success of his previous film ‘Prema Katha Chitram’ and with his six pack pictography making some buzz in the bench circles, this film is all set to stir the hero-centric masses. The film has two babes Asmitha Sood and Poonam Kaur pairing with the athletic actor and the film is directed by Krishna Reddy Ganga Dasu who earlier worked under SS Raja Mouli.
