Kyu San Juan, a 5-year-old who had to undergo a surgery for cerebral arteriovenous malformation wanted to dance before he went under the knife. What better partner than his grandfather Txhiaj Sawm Muas? The two took to the floor which happened to be the frozen food aisle in a Wisconsin grocery store. The performance took place at midnight, unfortunately with no audience to applaud them.

Kyu's mom, Rasami Moua said: “We all were getting ready to go to bed. And then Kyu said he wanted to go dancing.” The mother was hesitant. She was worried about what others would think, but there were no others, the aisles were empty. The pair then burned the dance floor with their moves, the grandfather following after his teacher.

Kyu’s condition involved an abnormal connection between the veins and arteries in the brain. Thankfully the surgery went off well. Hope to see the dancing duo back at it again.
