Every year on 15th of January, India celebrates Army Day as this was the day on which in 1949, Field Marshal Cariappa took over as the first Commander-in-chief of Indian Armed forces. On the the ocassion today, actor Sanjay Dutt shared a still from the set of his film 'LOC Kargil'. The pic features an all star ensemble cast of the film.
The film was based upon the 1999 Kargil War against Pakistan. Pic was likely taken during a break from the filming when all the cast members gathered for a group photo. Sanjay's heartfelt note read, "Saluting the courage and bravery of our Indian Army who has always stood strong, even in the most unfavorable conditions. We, as entertainers, can only try to portray your unparalleled commitment on the screens. ???????? #ArmyDay"
Sanjay is set to appear as Adheera in 'K.G.F: Chapter 2' and also has 'Shamshera', 'Toolsidas Junior' and 'Bhuj: The Pride Of India' in his pipeline.
