In a not-so-strange occurrence, entertainment was instrumental in saving the life of a patient who was to be conscious while a surgery was being performed on her. But in a very curious case, the surgery came to be named after nothing but 'Baahubali'.

A multi-speciality hospital in Guntur happened to witness this case of a brain surgery in the backdrop of 'Baahubali' on a laptop. When one Vijaya Kumari suffered fits, a surgery had to be done on her brain. She had to be conscious throughout for the medical intervention, without which the operation would fail. So, in order to keep her engaged, the docs decided to play 'Baahubali'. The magnum opus kept the patient busy and active, with she even repeating the songs.

The surgery was as big a hit as the film. This made the docs christen it as the 'Bahubali Brain Surgery'.
