Actor Ajith had made his debut in Tamil with the movie Amaravathi which was directed by Selva and this movie also had actor Bhanu Prakash in a supporting role. Bhanu Prakash has acted in many movies and serials in supporting roles in Tamil and Telugu.

Now, Bhanu Prakash's son Raj Ayyappa who had acted in Atharvaa's 100 is all set to act with Thala Ajith in his 60th movie Valimai. As the team is now shooting action sequences in Minjur, it has been revealed that Raj Ayyappa plays an important role in the movie. It has been speculated that he might play Ajith's brother and will have grey shades.

Valimai is directed by H Vinoth and is produced by Boney Kapoor's Bayview productions LLP. The movie will have Ajith playing a police officer, and also stars Huma Qureshi and Yogi Babu. Valimai has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Nirav Shah.
