This state attack on 'Bheemla Nayak' must end: Prakash Raj

Prakash Raj on Sunday urged the Andhra Pradesh government to end the onslaught on 'Bheemla Nayak', which hit the screens on Feb 25. Without explicitly talking about the nature of the agenda-driven targeting of the Pawan Kalyan-starrer, the versatile artist said that cinema should be let to thrive.
Why this abuse of power and display of hegemony to curb a creative film industry? Should we naively believe you when you suppress the film industry on the one hand and claim to be encouraging it on the other hand? Prakash Raj asked.
