Like the spring, fall collections in the fashion world, film industries too tend to make films according to seasons. If one film is a hit, then there are many who follow suit.

Suddenly, love stories become stale and it is the latest hit that sets the trend. The current craze in Tollywood is for thrillers. There is mass production of the films belonging to this genre right now.

We have Mantra directed by Thulasiram releasing this week.

Then, there is Anasuya being made by Ravi Babu under the Flying Frogs’ banner for Suresh Productions. Another film by director Shekhar Suri, who has in fact spawned the trend with his summer hit A Film By Arvind, is currently under production.

The film has Rishi and Rajeev Kanakala playing the lead once again.

The highlight of this film is the cinematography by Senthil Kumar, as most of the film is shot on a moonless night.
