After making audience wait for more than a year, Akshay Kumar starrer 'Sooryavanshi' is finally going to be released. It is set to hit the screens on April 30, 2021. According to reports, the film has also sold its distribution rights. OTT giant Netflix have bagged the streaming rights of this much anticipated thriller. The film will have its OTT premiere about four weeks after the theatrical release.

There were rumors about the digital release of the film during the whole pandemic situation but the makers were totally against it. Exact figures are not known but it's being reported that Netflix paid a really hefty amount for this deal. 'Sooryavanshi' is a the latest installment in Rohit Shetty's ambitious cop universe. It will feature Akshay Kumar as the leader of an anti terrorist squad. The film will also unite the three maine leads of the universe as Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgan are going to make cameo appearances.

The trio will join forces to defeat a common enemy and this is exactly the reason why so many people are desperately waiting for this film.
