Ram Charan has endorsed an upcoming OTT release. It's 'Ek Mini Katha', starring Santosh Shoban in the role of a funny youngster who is embarrassed about the 'mini' size of his genitals. Directed by Karthik Rapolu, the comedy is produced by UV Concepts.
Sharing the film's trailer on Twitter, Ram Charan wrote, "Looks like a unique & genuine attempt. My best wishes to the team! Watch #EkMiniKatha on Amazon Prime from May 27." The Mega Power Star seems to have taken a personal interest in promoting the film because it's coming from the stable of UV Creations.
Amazon Prime is releasing bits and pieces from the movie. In one of the pre-release videos, Shoban's character is seen begging his mother not to call him 'Chinna'. Kavya Thapar is the heroine.
The film, written by 'Express Raja' director Merlapaka Gandhi, has Sudarshan as Shoban's sidekick. "He needs a penis enlargement surgery," the comedian shouts in a hospital, much to the embarrassment of the poor male lead.
Brahmaji and Shraddha Das, who have comedic and a glamorous role, respectively, are expected to add to the film's appeal.
When the film starts streaming on May 27, it will be the first major direct OTT release during the second wave in Telugu.
Looks like a unique & genuine attempt.
