This is why Chiranjeevi's new film won't have a love track

It's known that the Malayalam action film 'Lucifer' will be remade in Telugu with Chiranjeevi as the hero. Sujeeth of 'Saaho' fame will wield the megaphone for the remake.

The buzz in the industry is that the makers will not opt for a separate romantic track involving the Megastar and his as-yet-unfinalized heroine. The director-hero duo is believed to have considered a romantic track by defying the standard set by the Mollywood original. However, Chiru is reported to have backtracked after receiving some sage advice from a well-known director not to force-fit a love track for the sake of it.

Chiru usually involves a lot of brains during the scripting stage of his movies. Both 'Khaidi No. 150' and 'Sye Raa' had many writers working on the script. He acts on the advice of the seniors and lets his director do the job.

The remake will be produced by Ram Charan, who was the one to suggest Sujeeth's name. It will be shot sometime in 2021 after Chiru is done with Koratala Siva's 'Acharya'.
