This is certain for Pongal

The multi-starrer Paasakiligal which has dialogues story, screenplay and dialogues by DMK Chief M Karunanidhi is confirmed for a release this Pongal.

Featuring Prabhu, Murali, Malavika, Nasser, Navya Nair among others, the movie is directed by Amirtham and produced by director Rama Narayanan. Music is by Vidyasagar.

According to Amirtham, ‘producer Rama Narayanan is always there to help me. He did not hesitate for a moment when I suggested we shoot in Rajasthan. Not just Karunanidhi’s dialogues but his lyrics would also mesmerize audience’.

Rama Narayanan is happy that in short time Karunanidhi has written two films for him (Manin Maindhan and Paasakiligal).

‘This film is out and out a family drama where the story revolves around two families. It is a story about two brothers and a sister. They meet another family and how they adjust with each other is the gist of the story.’
