Director, music director and multitalent personality Gangai Amaran's son, Venkat Prabhu had made his debut as a director in 2007 with the movie Chennai 600028, a movie revolving around cricket, friendship and love, and the summer release was a smash hit of the year.
Chennai 600028 gave a great start to the careers of actors like Shiva, Jai, Premgi etc and Yuvan's music was a pillar of the movie. Today marks the 13th anniversary of the movie's release, and Venkat Prabhu tweeted "Wow 13 years!!#chennai28 thanks to one and all for the love for the movie and for us!! Owe u @charanproducer na!! ??".
Responding to Venkat Prabhu's tweet, Vishnu Vishal tweeted "Sar unbelievable...its been almost 14 years when i met you first for an opportunity in #chennai28...Time flies?? Wil always be a special film for tamil audiences...", revealing that he had tried for an opportunity in Chennai 600028.
