Actor Suriya who was last seen on screen in Kaappaan directed by KV Anand, and next the actor will be seen in Sudha Kongara's Soorarai Pottru, which is based on the life of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath, and this movie is set to release in Summer.

After Soorarai Pottru, Suriya is expected to start his 39th movie with director Hari with whom he has given hits Aaru, Vel, Singam 1, Singam 2 and Si 3, and it has been said that this movie will not be in the Singam series but will be a family mass entertainer.

While there are speculations that Master heroine Malavika Mohanan will be the female lead of Suriya 39 by Hari, the latest news making rounds is that actor Prasanna might be signed to play the villain in this movie. While an official clarification is awaited, it must be noted that Prasanna was also in consideration to play Ajith's villain in Valimai.
