Imagine someone making a film in the template and style of the all-time favourite of many: 'Ninne Pelladatha'. That's what is happening right now. The film is coming from the Akkineni stable. It's Naga Chaitanya's film!

Talking about Chai's up-and-coming movie to be directed by Kalyan Krishna of 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' fame, Nagarjuna says, "'Ninne Pelladatha' is a film with a difference in my career. Chaitanya's movie will be made in that style. That doesn't mean it's a sequel to 'NP'. It will be a new-age romantic family entertainer. We at Annapurna Studios are eagerly waiting for the project to go to floors in October".

Kalyan Krishna proved his knack for unveiling interesting characters, complete with appealing slang, on screen with 'SCN'. Let's hope his second film will offer the audience something new once again. After all, when was the last time we watched Chai in a family entertainer?
