Popular director joins AL Vijay's Thalaivi!

Director AL Vijay had last directed Devi 2 starring Tamannaah and Prabhu Deva, and now he's directing the movie Thalaivi, which is the biopic of actress and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.

While Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut will play the role of Jayalalithaa in the movie, Arvind Swami will be seen as MGR and his look was revealed yesterday with a special teaser on the occasion of MGR's 103rd birth anniversary.

Now it has been revealed that director and actor Samuthirakani will also be a part of Thalaivi and it has been said that he might play MGR's secretary in the movie. Thalaivi also stars Madhubala and Vidya pradeep and has music by GV Prakash.
