'The Kapil Sharma Show' is one of the most popular shows on the television since last few years. Several filmstars, musicians and celebs used to come to the show to promote their works. However, during the lockdown, no new films were being released and due to lack of celebrity guests, the show was taken off air. Comedian Kapil Sharma was also busy with some family obligations.

Now as the films are coming to the theaters again, 'The Kapil Sharma Show' is also going to resume soon. The first celebrity star on the show will none other than Akshay Kumar himself. He has been a frequent guest in Kapil's show as he works in a lot of films and this he'll be promoting the spy thriller 'Bell Bottom'. Akshay revealed this during a Twitter exchange with Kapil Sharma.

Kapil actually tweeted praising the trailer of the film and sharing his well wishes with the team. To this Akshay replied, "Jaise pata chala show par aa raha hoon, best wishes bheji uske pehle nahi. Milkar teri khabar leta hoon (As soon as you got to know that I will come to your show, you sent me best wishes and not before that. Wait until I meet you).” 'Bell Bottom' is set for a 19th August release while Kapil's show will be back on air on 15th of August.
