After the success of Karthik Subbaraj's Petta, Superstar Rajnikanth has completed shooting and dubbing for his 167th movie Darbar. The first single from the movie Chumma kizhi was released this week and has turned viral, and has been breaking Youtube records.

As Darbar song is breaking records, Kannada actor Rakshit Shetty has revealed how he had missed an opportunity to work in Darbar. The actor whose next movie Avane Srimannarayana will release in Tamil along with Kannada, on December 27, revealed that he was approached to star in Darbar.

However as he was busy with Avane Srimannarayana which he has also scripted, he could not take up the role in Darbar and also expressed his wish to act with Rajnikanth in another movie. Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss and also starring Nayanthara is releasing on Pongal 2020.
