Thiruvilaiyadal, a breezy entertainer

Directed by Boopathy Pandian, the movie Thiruvilaiyadal has big names like Shreya Reddy and Prakashraj in the cast.

A major portion of the movie has been completed and the post-production works would commence soon, says director Boopathy Pandian, who had worked with Dhanush in Devadhaiyai Kandein before.

It is said that the Dhanush - Prakashraj combination scenes are the highlights of the film. Unlike his earlier movies, Dhanush does a comical role in this.

Dhanush says, “It is an out and out commercial film with an eye on comedy. After Pudhupettai and Adhu Oru Kanakkalam, I wanted to do a breezy family entertainer, and I got this subject. This is the second film I am doing with Boopathy Pandian.”

“The humour has worked out really well in the family portions of the film and I'm sure the audience will like it,” he says.

Another major highlight is Dhanush appearing in different costumes for a song. He sports the looks of MGR, Sivaji Ganesan and Rajinikanth in the song. It would be welcomed by his fans, says Boopathy Pandian.

Mouli, Saranya, Karunas and Mayilsamy are also in the cast.
