Almost 50 per cent of the shooting of 'Lakshmi Kalyanam' directed by Teja, and produced by K Chandrasekhar (Jeetu) was complete with the canning of three songs and other important scenes.

Presented by K Mahendra, the film has Kalyan Ram and Kajal in the lead. The latest schedule of the film would begin on August 19 at Madanapalli and Tirupati in Rayalaseema region.

Producer Chandrasekhar says, 'We have so far completed two schedules. The first schedule was held between July 01 and July 10 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The second schedule was held in various locales in and around Hyderabad from August 2. The third schedule is planned from August 19 and would continue till October 01. With this we will wind up the shooting part'.

Ajay, Avinash, Raghubabu, Srinivasa Reddy, Lakshmipati, Santosh, Suhasini and others are in the lead. The dialogue of the film was penned by Paruchuri Brothers, while music is by RP Patnaik. Story, screenplay and direction are by Teja.
