Thiraikku Varadha Kadhai
Popular Malayalam director Thulasidas has helmed the Tamil/Malayalam bilingual ‘Thiraiku Varatha Kathai’ (‘Girls’ in Malayalam).
The film has Nadhiya playing the central character of a police officer with Iniya, Aarthi Ganesh, Reshma Pasupaletti, Eden, Archana and Kovai Sarala. The uniqueness of this film is that it has no male characters.
M.G.Sreekumar has rendered the musical score for this film touted to be a thriller.
The film has acquired a U/A certificate from Censor Board. Controversies erupted as news reports claimed that the film had lesbian scenes and they were removed by Censor Board. But the director denied such an allegation. He has said though the film has lesbian sequences they have been shot without any sleaziness and the intent is to convey the message on how harmful it is to indulge in such kind of romances going against the culture
TVK has been scheduled to hit the screens for Deepavali festival.
