IndiaGlitz wishes the young and talented Saqib Saleem a very Happy Birthday!

Saqib's charm has earned him a massive following, especially amongst his female fans. The boy with a craze and liking for fitness and style has definitely stunned many with his persistent good roles on screen. As he celebrates his birthday today (8th April), we take a look at 6 things we didn't know about him on his birthday

1. We all know that he made his Bollywood Debut with 'Mujhse Fraandship Karoge', but originally he was meant to debut playing the role of younger Akshay Kumar in 'Patiala House'.

2. Saqib was a Cricketer, before coming to Mumbai and starting his career in Bollywood. He used to play cricket professionally for Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir during his college days.

3. Before heading to Mumbai for his Bollywood debut, one of the leading modeling companies from China approached him and offered him a contract too but Saqib by then got his first call from Bollywood for a movie and he declined the China modelling offer.

4. He is such a huge cricket fan and follows the sport like a religion! Moreover, the sweetest thing is that he is a big Sachin Tendulkar fan and celebrates Sachin's birthday every year from past last 26 years!

5. He was scared of pets until he had one of his own.Yes, his social media followers must be thinking this is totally untrue! But because having bad memories from his childhood, he was scared of pets at home up until he was introduced to his own pet dog by his sister Huma. Now his pet labrador and he are bests and spend most of the time together.

6. Saqib is definitely a multi-talented personality. Back in his school days, Saqib was a skating champion when he was younger Now we know, that was one of the reasons he was strongly considered for his role as the skating coach in the movie 'Hawaa Hawaai'.
