The graphics work that a film like 'Baahubali2' entails can only be described through one adjective: Baahubalian. An enormous amount of work being carried out by largest-ever teams for an Indian movie, this has meant undergoing heavy expenses and even running the risk of some content being leaked by mischievous elements.
Days after the talk that the film's release could be advanced given the difficulties of guarding the content across several locations, the makers are silent on it. Sources in the know, however, have said that there is no question of the magnum opus hitting the screens except on April 28 for the reason that it's not possible to do so in Hindi, where production houses decide the date months in advance.
The graphics works, all the same, have been going on well, as the official handle of the makers itself confirms. "Kamal is supervising VFX work across 30 studios and freelancers (350+ artistes) for @BaahubaliMovie 2! It's tough n complex to say the least," it said. Producer Shobu Yarlagadda says, "Looks like things are on schedule, our VFX Supervisor Kamal Kannan, and his team hard at work."
