Dusky Sameera Reddy had her last major performance in Sanjay Gupta's Musafir [2004]. Further to this she made a fleeting appearance towards the last couple of minutes in 'No Entry'.

If one thought that this was the last one saw of the beauty then that's wrong since there is more to come with things looking brighter for the actor. Her Bengali film Kalpurush, directed by Buddhadev Dasgupta, where she costarred with Mithun Chakraborty and Rahul Bose, was recently shown at the Toronto International Film Festival. Her regional foray continues with Jai Chiranjeeva where she stars opposite Telegu superstar Chiranjeevi.

Also things are looking great for her on the Bollywood front with two movies progressing at a brisk pace. First to come would be John-Nana-Riteish starrer 'Taxi Number 9211' directed by Milan Luthria where she is a sole heroine. Coming next would be a thriller Benaam where she is paired opposite Ajay Devgan. Interestingly the movie is being directed by Anees Bazmee who has delivered the biggest hit of the year - 'No Entry'.

A great lineup indeed for Sameera!
